About Us
Foundation Doctor India (FDI) is about improving the competence and confidence of fresh medical graduates at junior doctor level before they enter into a post-graduate training programme. It is inspired from Foundation programme at NHS, UK. I advise fresh medical graduates to work for 1-2 years in clinical specialties before they get into or working hard for PG entrance examinations. FDI will serve as a platform for the above group during those years so that they are better equipped clinically as a Foundation Doctor (as I call it) before they enter into a PG programme.
